Practical and functional design

STARLED3 NX is composed by three reflectors that produce a well-blended and intense cone of light focusable through the specific function on the control panel. The design is practical,
compact and functional.

The lamp is ergonomic, easy to move and to position and suitable for the laminar flows of the operating room. Thanks to its ENDO function (light for endoscopy) is also suitable for minimal-invasive surgery. The easy-to-clean shape and material is removable and  sterilizable.

STARLED3 NX can be supplied with ABPS on demand.

I-SENSE control panel

Functions are adjusted through the innovative easy-to read, ergonomic and easy-to-clean I-SENSE control panel available in STANDARD version and v2016. With a simple touch it can manage easily and accurately

  • ON/OFF FUNCTION
  • LIGHT INTENSITY ADJUSTMENT
  • DoF – DEPTH OF FIELD – for a deep light
  • ENDO – Light for endoscopy ideal for minimal-invasive surgery
  • SIZE – Light spot diameter adjustment to focus the operating area
  • SYNC – (optional) Function to synchronize controls of combined lamps: STARLED3 NX double (twin dome configuration) and with STARLED5 NX
ABPS Rechargeable battery powered system on trolley

ABPS is a rechargeable battery powered system for surgical lamps in compliance with the European Directive MDR 2017/745.

ABPS:

  • Has an electronic control which allows the automatic switch from electric
  • Power supply to battery power supply. In this way STARLED3 NX can be used as a
  • High performance mobile unit.
  • Is rechargeable by an automatic charger and requires no specific maintenance.
  • Its autonomy may vary depending on the battery model.

STARLED3 NX with ABPS supplies efficient light for every condition of use:

  • humanitarian interventions
  • in critical regions
  • in emergency situations
  • in case of sudden black-outs
  • where light has great importance but electrical power supply is not available as additional safety in the OP theatres of field hospitals without UPS or power generators.
  • STARLED3 NX with ABPS has the same performance and appearance, since the
  • structure containing the battery is within the trolley base. The structure which covers and
  • protects the battery is made of resistant plastic, and its dimensions are: 560 x 560 x 340 mm.

The control panel on the structure allows managing all fundamental parameters, such as residual charge, type of power supply, recharge status and electrical power supply presence, amongst others

Cameras

During surgical and endoscopic interventions, image rendering is extremely important.
STARLED3 NX can be supplied with FHD or 4K camera in the central handle or on separate arm.
Filming surgical procedures in the OR is increasingly popular both for educational as for documentation purposes. Static images have made way to HD video to register special procedures or important moments during surgery.

ACEM supplies cameras that allow filming all phases of surgery and can be integrated centrally into surgical lamps (inside the handle) or on separate arm.

The camera centrally integrated in the handle ensures that the operating field is always in the camera frame.

Our cameras grant clear images, excellent quality and are ideal for:

  • Documentation of interventions
  • Video consultation during intervention
  • Broadcasts from operating rooms for educational purposes
  • Transmission of video images from the operating room
